شب؟ شب یعنی چه؟ شب یک حالت از وقت است. من غرق در وقتم. شب منطقی است که شب باشد. شب هست. اشکال در شب نیست. اشکال در نبودنِ نور است؛ و در نشستن و گفتن که صبر باید کرد، و انتظارِ صبح باید داشت. وقتی که در شب قطبی نشستهام شش ماه انتظار یک عُمر است ــ شمع را روشن کن. شمع روشن کردن کاری است، و آفتاب زدن اتّفاقِ نجومی. شمع روشن کن، و باز شمع روشن کن. و قانع نشو به نورِ حقیرِ حباب. و بس کن از این نشستن و گفتن که صبح میآید. آه، اینها کلیشه است، مانندِ مُهرِ لاستیکی است، تکراری است، فرسوده است، اینها به دردِ شاعرانِ خانهی فرهنگ میخورد. مانندِ اینکه آفتاب درخواهد آمد. ما در کتاب اوّل خواندیم که ماه سی روز است، یعنی سی بار صبح در هر ماه، سی بار آفتاب زدن. بس نیست؟ این دیگر وعده نمیخواهد. این دیگر انتظار ندارد. اصلاً انتظار یعنی چه؟ انتظار افیون است. هر لحظه انتظار، در حداکثر، مانندِ مستی خوش آغازِ بادهپیماییست. بعد بالا میآوری. در انتظار بودن، یعنی نبودن در وقت.
